The FCC’s government-funded Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended on June 1, 2024. The FCC is no longer accepting new ACP enrollments and the up to $30/month government subsidy is no longer available to participating customers. Applicable taxes and fees have been reinstated to GFiber internet plans. For more information about the ACP, visit the FCC ACP website.
What’s happening in 2024?
GFiber currently offers this program for any GFiber and Google Fiber Webpass residential internet service to qualifying customers. As of January 11, 2024, the FCC announced there will be no new enrollments after February 7, 2024, and the last fully-funded month is expected to be in April 2024 (FCC will issue a 60-day notice prior to the last fully-funded month).
