Manage your router with the GFiber App

Manage your router in the GFiber App. On the router screen, you can turn on Bridge Mode, restart your router, or reset your router.

We regularly update the GFiber App with new features to help make it even easier for you to manage your home or business network. We’ll be making improvements throughout 2025 and beyond, so your GFiber App might look different from the examples below.

You can use the GFiber App to manage your router.

To navigate to the Router screen:

  1. Tap Network.
  2. Tap Network settings.

  3. Touch Advanced network settings.

  4. Touch Edit router settings.

On the Router screen, you can perform the following actions:

  • Tap the Bridge Mode toggle to turn on Bridge Mode. For in-depth information, check out the About Bridge Mode article.
    • If you're using your own router, connect it directly to the Fiber Jack instead of using Bridge Mode. Restart your router after connecting it.
  • Tap Restart router to restart your router.
  • Tap Reset router settings to restore your router’s addresses, DNS and Ports settings to their factory defaults, however your Wi-Fi settings won’t be affected.
