Manage Your Router With the GFiber App

Manage your router in the GFiber App. On the router screen, you can turn on Bridge Mode, restart your router, or reset your router.

How to Navigate to the Router Controls

Use the Router management screen to toggle Bridge Mode, restart your hardware, or reset advanced routing configurations without losing your Wi-Fi network name.

Navigate to Network Settings: Open the GFiber App and tap Network, then select Network settings.
Access Advanced Options: Tap Advanced network settings to reveal configuration controls.
Select the Router: Tap Edit router settings to target your primary network gateway.

Available Router Actions

Once you are on the Router screen, you can perform three distinct actions depending on your technical needs:

Action	What It Does	Best Used For
Toggle Bridge Mode	Disables the GFiber router's routing functions so it acts strictly as a modem. (Note: If possible, connect your personal router directly to the Fiber Jack instead).
Restart Router	Power-cycles the hardware without changing any data or settings.	Fixing sudden internet slowdowns or minor connectivity glitches.
Reset Router Settings	Restores IP addresses, DNS, and Port forwarding to factory defaults.	Fixing advanced network configuration errors without changing your Wi-Fi name or password.
