Set a Primary and Secondary Payment Method
Learn how to choose which payment method is charged first for your GFiber bill, and set a backup to help avoid service interruptions.
Adding a secondary payment method ensures your service stays active even if your primary payment method fails. If that happens, we’ll automatically charge your secondary payment method instead.
Before setting a secondary payment method, make sure you have at least two different payment methods saved to your account. If you don’t, you’ll need to add another payment method first. You can update which payment method is charged first anytime. Remember, your primary and secondary payment methods must be different.
Make sure both your primary and secondary payment methods are current. Expired cards or closed accounts can’t be processed for automatic payments.
