Add, Update, or Remove Payment Methods

Easily add, update, or remove payment methods like credit cards and bank accounts in your GFiber account or app.

If you don’t get a GFiber bill (for example, if service is included with your apartment), you’ll still need to add a payment method if you sign up for products like GFiber Phone.

Adding or updating a payment method may automatically process any outstanding balance on your account. If you don’t see a payment posted within 24 hours, we recommend making a manual payment.

Add a Payment Method

Using the GFiber Mobile App

Before you begin, download the GFiber App for Android or iOS.

  1. Open the GFiber App and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Select Manage payments.
  4. Under How you pay, tap Manage payment methods
  5. Tap Add payment method.
  6. Choose a payment type (credit or debit card, bank account, Google Pay).

    We support Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.
  7. Enter your payment details, then tap Accept and continue.
  8. Set the new payment method as your primary or secondary payment method so your monthly payments stay automatic and easy.

Using the GFiber Online Account Portal 

  1. Sign in to your GFiber account.
  2. In the Billing info section, click Manage payments.
  3. Under How you pay, select Manage payment methods.
  4. Click Add payment method.
  5. Choose a payment type (credit or debit card, bank account, Google Pay), enter your information, then select Accept and continue.
  6. Set the new payment method as your primary or secondary payment method so your monthly payments stay automatic and easy.

Update a Payment Method

You can update some details for your current payment method, depending on the payment type. If you need to change a card number or a bank routing number, you’ll need to add a new payment method instead.

What you can update

  • Cards: Account holder name, expiration date, billing address, and payment nickname

  • Bank accounts: Account holder name and payment nickname

Using the GFiber Mobile App

Before you begin, download the GFiber App for Android or iOS.

  1. Open the GFiber App and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Manage payments.
  4. Under How you pay, select Manage payment methods
  5. Find the payment method you want to update and tap Edit.
  6. Make your changes, then tap Update payment method.

Using the GFiber Online Account Portal 

  1. Sign in to GFiber using the email and password you use for your GFiber account.
  2. In the Billing info section, click Manage payments.
  3. Under How you pay, select Manage payment methods.
  4. Click Edit next to the payment method you want to update.
  5. Update the information, then click Save.

Remove a Payment Method

Your account needs at least one primary payment method. To remove your current primary method, you’ll need to set a different one as primary first. 

Using the GFiber Mobile App

Before you begin, download the GFiber App for Android or iOS.

  1. Open the GFiber App and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Manage payments.
  4. Under How you pay, select Manage payment methods
  5. Find the payment method you want to remove, then tap Remove.

Using the GFiber Online Account Portal 

  1. Sign in to your GFiber account.
  2. In the Billing info section, click Manage payments.
  3. Under How you pay, select Manage payment methods.
  4. Click Remove next to the payment method you want to remove.
