Sign Up for GFiber Phone Service

Set up GFiber Phone by checking address eligibility, adding it to your service, and choosing self-install or professional installation.

You can add GFiber Phone when you sign up for internet service or add it later to an existing account. During setup, you’ll choose whether to get a new phone number or transfer your current number.

Sign Up for GFiber Phone During Internet Signup

  1. Go to gfiber.com and click the Check availability button in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter your address to see if GFiber is available.

  3. If your address is eligible, you’ll see the option to add GFiber Phone as an add-on. Select the Get Started button.

  4. Choose your internet product and click the Next button.

  5. Select Add Phone, then click Next.

  6. (Optional) Add a phone battery backup.

  7. Choose your setup type based on your home configuration:

    1. Self-install kit: We’ll ship a GFiber Phone self-install kit to you (or you can pick it up). 

    2. Professional installation: You’ll be prompted to schedule an installation appointment.

  8. Review your order and select the Next button.

  9. Sign in or create your GFiber account and add a payment method.

  10. Create your 5-digit support PIN.

  11. Finish setting up your phone line in your GFiber account:

    1. Get a new phone number

    2. Transfer your current number to GFiber Phone (port-in)

Add GFiber Phone to Existing Service

  1. Sign into your GFiber account.

  2. Click the Manage plan button.

  3. Choose Additional services from the sidebar.

  4. Select GFiber Phone, then click Add to plan.

  5. Choose your setup type based on your home configuration:

    1. Self-install kit: We’ll ship a GFiber Phone self-install kit to you (or you can pick it up). 

    2. Professional installation: You’ll be prompted to schedule an installation appointment.

  6. Review your order and click the Next button.

  7. Finish setting up your phone line in your GFiber account:

    1. Get a new phone number

    2. Transfer your current number to GFiber Phone (port-in)
